A Study to Analyze if Exercise Echocardiography Can Identify Ventricular and Vascular Function Abnormalities That are Undetectable at Rest for Patients With Coarctation of Aorta (COA)

About this study

This study is designed to determine if exercise echocardiography will identify ventricular and vascular function abnormalities in patients with COA that are not apparent at rest, and that exercise-induced ventricular and vascular dysfunction will predict clinical outcomes. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age ≥ 18 years old.
  • History of COA.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients under 18 years old.
