A Study to Evaluate Treating Post-Mastectomy Radiation Injury in Breast Cancer Patients with Adipose-Induced Regeneration of Breast Skin (AIR Breast)

About this study

The primary purpose of this study is to identify the therapeutic effect of Adipose-Induced Regeneration (AIR) in radiation-induced skin injury of post-mastectomy breast cancer patients.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Females above 18 years old.
  • Diagnosed with breast cancer.
  • Will be treated by mastectomy and undergo radiotherapy and will receive breast reconstruction.
  • Able and willing to sign consent to participate.

Exclusion Criteria:  

  • Breast cancer patients that do not accept to participate.
  • Patients with previous breast reconstruction surgery.
