A Study to Evaluate the Impact of an Occupational Therapy Education Experience for Medical Students

About this study

The purpose of this study is to add an occupational therapy education session into the curricula for medical students in their last year of their training to assess if the training programs will improve students understanding of occupational therapy and positively impact students readiness to involve occupational therapy in clinical practice.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Mayo medical students participating in their fourth year intersession.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Non-participation in the interprofessional education experience
