Angle Closure Progression

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the progression of angle closure in the large different racial patients who present to Mayo clinic assessing both the functional and structural progression with the anterior segment imaging techniques currently available.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Greater than 18 years.
  • WIlling to be part of the study.
  • Iridocorneal contact on dark room gonioscopy.
  • Phakic irrespective of the refractive status.
  • No previous use of eye medications.
  • No trauma.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patient who cannot co-operate to have a gonioscopy.
  • Ocular inflammation.
