A Study to Evaluate Surgeon’s Prediction of Flap Outcomes

About this study

The purpose of this study is to improve cost-efficiency of microsurgical reconstruction by using flap-monitoring devices only when the surgeon believes that the flap is at risk.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age between 18 years old and 79 years old.
  • Ability to provide consent for surgery.
  • Patients who undergo a free flap procedure.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Age under 18 years old or above 80 years old.
  • Inability to provide consent for surgery.
