About this study

The purpose of this study is to assess the prevalence and outcome of a stuck leaflet that was found at the time of valve replacement, and to evaluate the risk of future valve thrombosis in affected patients.

 

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients ≥ 18 years of age.
  • Both males and females.
  • Underwent any kind of valve replacement surgery, bioprosthetic or mechanical, at any position, either implanted surgically or percutaneously.
  • Underwent valve replacement therapy over the past 10 years.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients under 18 years of age.
