Brain MRE at 7T

About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) techniques and protocol for brain applications on 7T MRI scanners.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Healthy adult volunteers aged 18 or older.
  • Absent confounding medical conditions with no known brain diseases that are considered safe for 7T MRI exams.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Individuals with a known neurologic disease.
  • Individuals who has implants or who may have implants that are not MR safe such as pacemakers, deep brain stimulators or vagus nerve stimulators.
  • Individuals with metal from prior surgery or injury (such as metallic fragments in the eyes).
  • Children younger than 18 years old.
  • Pregnant women.
