Long-Term Results of Iliac Artery Intervention in Patients Younger Than 60 years of age

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the complications, clinical results, long-term patency and reinterventions associated with iliac artery stents and to compare them with those of aortoiliac bypass in patients 60-year old and younger at the Mayo Clinic.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

< 60 years of age.
Underwent iliac artery stenting (group A) or aortobifemoral bypass (group B) or hybrid femoral endarterectomy with iliac stenting (group C) starting in 1990 to August 2017 at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN.

Exclusion Criteria:

> 60 years of age.
