About this study

To determine if changes in cochlear implant electrode impedances change as a function current level and charge that is used to measure electrode impedances.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults, age ≥ 18 years old.
  • Have already received a cochlear implant.
  • Must be able to provide consent to participate.

 Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Individuals < 18 years old.
  • Additional handicap that would limit the patient from being able to follow study instructions.
