A Study to Survey The Underserved Population in Olmsted County and Integrative Health

About this study

The purpose of this study is to assess:  the prevalence of previous and/or current use of Integrative health interventions in the underserved population in Olmsted County, interest toward future use of Integrative treatment modalities among underserved patients in Olmsted County, and gender-based differences in the use of Integrative health modalities and interest in Integrative therapies among underserved patients in Olmsted County.

The results of this study will allow us to appropriately plan future studies to assess the safety and effectiveness of Integrative therapies among this population. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Undergoing an appointment at Zumbro Valley Health Center.
  • Willing and able to participate in the survey.
  • Able to speak, read, and understand English lanuguage.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Decline to participate in the survey.
