About this study

This study seeks to evaluate the difference in clinical, radiographic and functional outcomes between ultracongruent, medial pivot and posterior stabilized TKA bearings in a retrospective cohort.

Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is a reliable and durable procedure. In contemporary TKAs, there are mutliple bearing options, the benefits of which remain unclear.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age ≥ 18, Age ≤ 100.
  • Patients having undergone total knee arthroplasty with highly congruent or posterior stabilized designs(DJO 3D Empowr vs Zimmer MP vs PS Stryker primary TKA).

Exclusion Criteria:

  • No vulnerable populations.
