Vision Testing Using iPad/iPhone

About this study

The purpose of this study is to compare the tablet/iPhone visual acuity test results to the conventional methods, ETDRS and Snellen chart to investigate the accuracy, validity and repeatability of the test. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • 100 subjects > 18 (200 eyes) with visual acuity at any level.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with no ability to sign the consent forms with no LAR.
  • Subjects with limited comprehension of English.
