A Retrospective Study of Long COVID Symptoms and Associated Factors

About this study

The purpose of this study is to identify the prevalence of Long Covid in our Mayo Clinic Patients. 

This will include: a detailed study of Long COVID Symptoms, demographic characteristics and Risk factors identification associated with Long Covid, description of clinical presentation of Long Covid patients and impact of different COVID variants on symptoms, impact of the vaccination and other therapeutics on symptoms and severity of Long COVID, impact of reinfection on Long COVID symptoms severity and duration.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • ≥ 18 years of age.
  • Confirmed positive test for COVID-19 at a Mayo Clinic Laboratory.  

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • < 18 years of age.
