Individual and Structural-level Determinants IN Racial/Ethnic Disparities among Transplant Patients

About this study

This current proposal will fill a gap in our understanding racial disparities in patients with end-stage liver dysfunction by examining individual- and structural-level determinants that contribute to disparities in liver transplantation listing.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

- Patients with end-stage liver, kidney, or cardiac dysfunction.

Exclusion Criteria:

- Patients with more than one system with end stage organ dysfunction, dementia, cognitive or sensory impairment, prior solid organ transplant.

- Patients with potential medical exclusions for transplant.
