Liver Transplant Candidates Sleep Related Breathing Disorders

About this study

The purpose of this study is to improve existing tools for predicting the risk of sleep apnea, as these tools are not validated in this population who have complex physiology relating to sleep.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age ≥ 18 years.
  • Undergoing evaluation for potential liver.
  • Fluency in any of the following languages English or Spanish.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Age < 18.
  • Color-blind (invalidates Stroop testing).
  • Personal history of sleep apnea.
