About this study

The purpose of this study is to analyze the postural variations in mean ocular perfusion pressure in Glaucoma patients and compare with a healthy age matched control group.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults age 40-100 years
  • Primary Open angle glaucoma patients and Healthy controls (as described above).

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with corneal pathologies leading to inaccurate IOP measurement.
  • Patients with other retinal pathologies/ posterior segment inflammation, which could influence the ocular perfusion measurements.
  • Previous Glaucoma Surgery.
  • Cataract surgery within 1 month.
  • Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty/ Laser Iridotomy within last 6 months.
  • Secondary Glaucoma.
