Exercise Training Effect on Serum Ceramide Levels

About this study

The purpose of this study is is to test the role of exercise training on levels of serum Ceramide in response to acute bout of exercise as well as training program.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Coronary Artery Disease (Defined as: Prior Myocardial infarction, history of coronary stenting or Coronary artery bypass grafts).
    • Confirmation of above diagnoses by clinical, laboratory, imaging, pathology, or surgical findings.
  • Age ≥ 18 years.
  • Enrolled in our cardiac rehabilitation program.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • < 18 years of age.
