Intramuscular Emg Data of the Pronator Group During Forearm Pronation in Healthy Individuals

About this study

The purpose pf this study is to identify the individual contribution of the pronator quadratus and pronator teres during various forearm pronation activities, additionally to present reference data of muscle activation patterns in healthy subjects, considering neurological examination guidelines for patients with neuropathic conditions affecting the upper extremity such as brachial plexopathies.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Healthy.
  • Aged 18-65.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Active/history of neurological condition affecting the upper extremity function.
  • Recent injury to the upper extremity in the last 6 months.
