Evaluate Behaviors Following Updates to Federal and State-Level Abortion Policy Changes

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate, in a prospective manner, permanent contraception-seeking behaviors amongst Mayo Clinic patients following the Dobbs Supreme Court Decision, as well as recent state-level rulings regarding bans on abortion. We aim to understand changes in these behaviors, and also better understand which patients are more likely to seek permanent contraception and the role of such policy changes in influencing their decisions.
