Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty Versus Open Reduction Internal Fixation in Patients Under 60 Years of Age

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the outcomes of RTSA versus ORIF in patients 60 years and younger who present with acute PHF, determined via postoperative range of motion (ROM), Single Assessment Numeric Evaluation score (SANE), American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons score (ASES), and numerical pain rating scale (NPRS). Our aim is to determine whether RTSA and/or ORIF are effective in patients under 60 with proximal humerus fractures through evaluation of these outcomes.
