The purpose of this study is to measure changes in autonomic nervous system functioning to show the impact of down-regulation techniques under cognitive stress.
The purpose of this study is to elucidate the relationship between autonomic nervous system regulation and physical performance.
The purpose of this repeated measures study is to test the effectiveness of down regulation techniques to mitigate the psycho-physiologic response to stress during an intense physical/cognitive stress task. The aims/objectives are to develop a training module for individuals to learn tnd use down-regulation techniques during physical/cognitive stress, and to compare differences in ECG and performance metrics when using down-regulation techniques following physical/cognitive stress to not using down-regualtion techniques utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the process of Anticipatory Thinking (AT) model development in healthcare and generate measurable hypotheses for future research studies.
