• Comparison of General Internal Medicine (GIM) Patients that were Referred to Pain Rehabilitation Center (PRC) Program and Finished it Vs. Patients that Decline Enrollment Into the PRC Jacksonville, Fla.

  The purpose of this study is to compare the outcomes of general internal medicine (GIM) patients that were referred to Pain rehabilitation center (PRC) program and finished it vs. patients that decline enrollment into the PRC.    

   

• Expanded Hereditary Cancer Genetic Testing Jacksonville, Fla.

  The purpose of this study is to measure the clinical impact of re-testing (quantifying the percentage of those who subsequently test positive, which genes are identified, and quantifying the percentage of those who have not received recommended clinical management as well as those for whom new clinical management options exist).

• Hereditary Cancer Registry Jacksonville, Fla.

  The purpose of this study is to develop and maintain a clinical registry database of all patients seen at Mayo Clinic Florida who have completed genetic testing through Mayo Clinic Florida or are seen due to a previously identified hereditary cancer risk. 

• The Experiences of Patients with Genetic Risk for Breast Cancer Jacksonville, Fla.

  The purpose of this study is to:

  1. To assess patient feelings and opinions on their variants
  2. To evaluate how the discovery of this variant has impacted relatives
  3. To evaluate how individuals would incorporate this knowledge into reproductive planning
  4. To create practice guidelines for handling this information in the future
