• Establishment of a Biorepository of Baseline and Follow-up Saliva Samples Collected from Newly Diagnosed, Treatment-naïve Cancer Patients Jacksonville, Fla.

  The ultimate goal of this biobank will be to provide the resource to initiate an exploration of human saliva as a potential liquid biopsy for cancer detection and surveillance.

• Impact of Virtual Reality on Patient Vital Signs during Urological Bedside Vasectomies Jacksonville, Fla.

  The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact virtual reality has on patient vital signs and satisfaction for patients undergoing Urologic bedside vasectomies.

• The Circulating Cell-free Genome Atlas Study (CCGA) Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

  GRAIL is using deep sequencing of circulating cell-free nucleic acids (cfNAs) to develop assays to detect cancer early in blood. The purpose of this study is to collect biological samples from donors with a new diagnosis of cancer (blood and tumor tissue) and from donors who do not have a diagnosis of cancer (blood) in order to characterize the population heterogeneity in cancer and non-cancer subjects and to develop models for distinguishing cancer from non-cancer.

• Using Virtual Reality (VR) Models for Preoperative Planning Jacksonville, Fla.

  A prospective, randomized, controlled study designed to assess whether digital virtual reality (VR) models, created from existing CT scans and MRIs, provide surgeons with an improved understanding of their patients' anatomy, resulting in more efficient operations (robotic partial nephrectomy) and improved patient care.
