• Clinical evaluation of the GRIP influenza and SARS-CoV-2 point-of-care assays using fresh patient nasal swab samples Rochester, Minn.

  The objectives of this study are to compare the performance of a novel, graphene-based, point-of-care device to routine laboratory-based molecular tests for detection of respiratory viruses, such as COVID-19 and influenza, and to determine if the novel, graphene-based assay provides enhanced sensitivity for detecting respiratory viruses compared to point-of-care antigen tests.

• Comparison of Respiratory Pathogen Detection in Upper Versus Lower Respiratory Tract Samples using the Biofire Filmarray Respiratory Panel Rochester, Minn.

  The purpose of this study is to compare the performance of the FilmArray Respiratory Panel in nasopharyngeal (NP) swabs and bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid collected from immunocompromised hosts (ICH).

• Evaluation of the BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card for Rapid Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in Asymptomatic Subjects Rochester, Minn.

  The purpose of this study is to validate the BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card in the asymptomatic COVID-19 screening population.

  The BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card is a useful tool for the rapid detection of SARS-CoV-2 and screening for COVID-19 in both symptomatic and asymptomatic patient populations.

   

• High Risk Human Papilloma Virus (hrHPV) Screening for Anal Dysplasia and Anal Cancer Rochester, Minn.

  This study will aim to validate a new application of hrHPV testing for use in advancing science and improving patient care with regards to anal cancer screening.
