The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the NanoKnife System for the ablation of unresectable Stage 3 pancreatic adenocarcinoma (Stage 3 pancreatic cancer).

Pancreatic Surgery Database (Pancreas Surgery database)

The aims of this study will be collection of standard and routinely obtained data specifically in the preoperative evaluation, operative room, postoperative/hospitalization period, and long term follow from the electronic medical record. Data collected will then be analyzed with standard scientific methods.

Paravertebral block vs no block in open pancreaticoduodenectomy: prospective randomized controlled trial

The purporse of this study is to compare intra and postoperative pain control between Paravertebral block vs no block in open pancreaticoduodenectomy. Length of stay, and complications will also be recorded. For this study we would plan to randomize to obtain objective data for clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes. Following surgery patients in both groups, data will be collected from the first 48 hours after surgery and at discharge.
