• A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Phase II Study To Assess The Efficacy And Safety Of Oral Vismodegib For The Treatment Of Basal Cell Carcinoma Preceding Excision By Mohs Micrographic Surgery Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study will assess the efficacy and safety of vismodegib with surgery in patients with basal cell carcinoma. Patients will be randomized to receive oral daily doses of vismodegib 150 mg or m atching placebo. The anticipated time on study drug treatment is 12 weeks.
• Patient Satisfaction in Mohs Micrographic Surgery with Supplemental Lidocaine Jelly Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

  The purpose of this study is to assess how using lidocaine jelly in Mohs surgery impacts the overall quantity of lidocaine/epinephrine injectable needed to maintain anesthesia, and patients’ pain/anxiety associated with anesthesia injections.   

• Use of Essential Oils in Dermatologic Surgery Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

  The aim of the protocol is to find out if we can use essential oils to relieve and decrease anxiety in patients that are undergoing procedures in Dermatology Surgery.
