• Non-invasive Measurement of Brain Activity During Deep Brain Stimulation by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Rochester, Minn.

  The purpose of this study is to learn the usefulness of near-infrared spectroscopy, a new type of scan, to monitor brain activity during deep brain stimulation for movement disorders.

• Young-adult normal FDG-PET database Rochester, Minn.

  The purpose of this study is to construct a young-adult normative FDG database that could be used with Cortex-ID and/or MIMneuro, enabling a quantifiable regional cortex map by using a single patient’s FDG scan. Here, we will conduct a preliminary study (n=10) to test the feasibility of the protocol and workflow.
