The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of immune tolerance phenotypes in primiparous and multiparous pregnancies of same versus differing paternity.
The purpose of this study is to identify genetic and molecular signatures of Villitis of Unknown Etiology (VUE) related to disease severity and poor pregnancy/fetal outcomes. In our first aim, we will evaluate the associations between maternal-infant HLA alleles, eplets and VUE. In our second aim, we will determine whether activation and upregulation of organ rejection genes/pathways is altered in VUE with poor outcomes.
The purpose of this study is to measure chronic villitis of unknown etiology (CVUE) induced changes in cellular interactions at the maternal fetal interface and define the antigen specific T cell mechanisms driving CVUE.
The purpose of this study is to learn the relationship between fetal (pre-birth infant) DNA and the mother's immune system. Fetal DNA can be found in the Mother's blood as early as 4 weeks after conception. The study wants to know if high levels of fetal DNA cause a maternal immune response that leads to problems like preterm birth.
