Influence of Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy on Myocardial Ischemia
Rochester, Minn.,
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.
The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of pulse electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy using the Bioboosti device (Biomobie Regenerative Medicine Company) and therapeutic protocol on cardiac ischemia in patients with coronary artery disease as quantified using an assessment of myocardial blood flow using 13N-ammonia myocardial perfusion positron emission tomography (PET) scanning to quantify blood flow during chemical induced stress.

Pilot study to investigate possible non-invasive treatment for Long COVID Brain Fog
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.
This study aims to assess the effects of both acute and chronic exposures to hypoxia and hypercapnia in patients with Long COVID syndrome.

An Examination of Post-exertional Malaise After a Standard 2-day CPET Within ME and CFS Patients (MEFCS)
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.
The primary objective of this study is to provide a better understanding of post-exercise malaise (PEM) within individuals diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS).

Investigation of Physiological Adaptations to Simulated Intermittent Altitude on Human Health and Performance
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.,
Rochester, Minn.
The purpose of this study is obtain blood biomarkers, exercise performance measurements, and perceived experience to help optimize an intermittent altitude exposure protocol for individuals that perform exercise in high altitude.

Recording Breath Acoustics in Patients with COPD (AireHealth COPD)
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.
The purpose of this study is to obtain repeated breath acoustic recordings in patients with COPD breathing at rest. These respiratory acoustics will be examined in relation to determinants of disease and/or disease states (classic respiratory pathophysiology) and quality of life measures in these patient populations to determine if any relationship or patterns exist within a condition based on disease severity.

Remote Self-training Program for Patients with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) (POTS)
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.
The study aims to evaluate if a hybrid semi-supervised remote monitoring three month strength and aerobic exercise training program can be as efficacious as in-person exercise training has previously demonstrated.

Tracking the Recovery of Respiratory Physiology in COVID-19 Patients a Pilot Study (RCR)
Rochester, Minn.,
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.
This study aims to determine the effect of lingering COVID-19 symptoms on alveolar-capillary membrane conductance, pulmonary blood flow, exhaled nitric oxide, maximal respiratory pressures, lung clearance index and pulmonary function (flow rates, lung volumes, resistance, and reactance) and to examine the relationships between the respiratory physiology and exercise gas exchange between subjects with and without ongoing COVID-19 symptoms.

Validation of a Short Version of the Attention Network Test and Comparison of Different Cognitive Tests
Rochester, Minn.,
Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.
The purpose of the current study is to determine whether we achieve the same measures of attentional performance if the ANT protocol is divided up into 6 blocks of 32 trials (i.e., a short ANT protocol).
