• Echocardiographic Strain Imaging Assessment of the Effect of Hemoglobin Levels on Myocardial Function in Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases Rochester, Minn.

  The purpose of this study is to test if a reduction of hemoglobin leads to subclinical cardiac dysfunction in patients with known cardiovascular disease.

• High-dose Hydroxocobalamin (Vitamin B12a) for Vasopressor Refractory Hypotension Following Cardiopulmonary Bypass Rochester, Minn.

  The purpose of this study is to demonstrate an improvement in arterial blood pressure and a decrease in vasopressor requirement with administration of B12a in patients with post-cardiotomy vasoplegic syndrome on high-dose vasopressors.
