Aneurysm Treatment Using Flow Diverter
Rochester, MN; Jacksonville, FL
The objectives of this study are to develop a repository of three-dimensional computerized tomography angiography (3DCTA) and three-dimensional rotational angiography (3DRA) imaging data and blood specimen collected from patients at pretreatment, post-treatment, and follow up, to monitor and identify the patients who have in-stent thrombosis, device mal-apposition, distal stroke, or other ischemic complications, to correlate fibrinogen levels, platelet activation, and thrombin generation with outcomes and to compare circulating miRNA and protein profiles and computational fluid dynamic (CFO) based hemodynamics and thrombosis initiation maker variables of patients who had ischemic complications versus those who did not.

Dynamic Assessment of Vascular Run-Offs using a Multi-phase Protocol and Reduced Contrast Bolus
Rochester, MN
The purposes for this study are to determine the ability of volumetric dynamic 4D CTA compared to replace current single-phase CTA and eliminate venous contamination that can decrease scan accuracy. Additionally, we seek to estimate the ability of this new imaging technique (volumetric dynamic 4D CTA) to reduce the dose of intravenous iodine and radiation dose.

A Study to Assess the Added Value of CTA in the Algorithm for Management of Acute Lower GI Bleeding
Rochester, MN
The purpose of this study is to determine the value of CTA as a first-line diagnostic study in hemodynamically stable patients who present to the emergency room with signs of lower GI bleeding that will undergo colonoscopy with bowel preparation.

Reduced-Dose Angiography CT Imaging
Rochester, MN
3D angiography (3DA) imaging is a valuable method for assessing cardiovascular anatomy prior to and following trans-catheter intervention. Current 3DA contributes substantially to the overall patient radiation dose for these procedures. The purpose of this work is to assess the clinical efficacy of reduced radiation dose 3DA.

Coronary CTA for Radiation Therapy Planning in Lymphoma Patients
Rochester, MN
Our purpose for this study is to help design a therapy plan that can decrease extra radiation exposure to your heart during radiotherapy. The therapy plan will use images obtained using a dual-source CT scanner

Registration of Coronary Arteries through Electroanatomical Mapping System with CT Angiography
Rochester, MN
This study aims to perform a prospective analysis of patients undergoing fibrillation ablations and compare the validity of the electroanatomical registration with superimposed angiography. In addition, this study aims to compare and understand the relationship between the cardiac vessels.

Clinical Research Study With Clazosentan to Evaluate Its Effects on Preventing Complications Due to the Narrowing of the Blood Vessels (Vasospasm) in the Brain, Caused by Bleeding Onto the Surface of the Brain (REACT)
Jacksonville, FL
The purpose of this study is to evaluate if clazosentan (on top of normal routine medical care) can reduce the risk of developing complications related to cerebral vasospasm and permanent brain damage as compared to normal routine medical care alone.

Identifying Posterior Circulation Candidates for Thrombectomy Using Perfusion Imaging
Rochester, MN
The purpose of this study is to determine if cerebral perfusion imaging can identify a subset of patients who are most likely to have a favorable outcome after thrombectomy treatment. We hypothesize that patients with a favorable Critical Area Perfusion Score (CAPS≤3) on cerebral perfusion imaging will have a favorable response to revascularization by thrombectomy and that patients with a CAPS>3 will not.

A Study of the Effects of Cytochrome P450 Enzyme on the Metabolism of Nimodipine after Aneurysm
Jacksonville, FL
The purpose of this study is to determine if cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzyme family variants alter the body's metabolism of nimodipine after Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (aSAH), and if actual levels of nimodipine correlate with clinical events and patient outcomes.

CT Angiography of the Aorta following Fenestrated Branched Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (F-BEVAR) using Tube Potential Selection and Weight-based Method: Effects on Image Quality and Radiation Dose
Rochester, MN
The objective of this study is to evaluate the image quality and radiation dose of a CT angiography protocol (CTA) using tube potential selection and weight-based method.
