Resources
The Department of Molecular Medicine provides investigators with services and resources to quickly advance a basic science discovery all the way through to clinical trials and the development of novel therapies. This enables new gene delivery systems and gene- and virus-based therapies to be available more quickly for patients.
The Department of Molecular Medicine offers these comprehensive resources and services:
- The Toxicology and Pharmacology Shared Resource performs laboratory assays and preclinical studies, in vivo animal studies, and small volume blood samples and endotoxin analysis.
- Noninvasive Optical Imaging provides noninvasive fluorescent or bioluminescent imaging and SPECT, PET and CT imaging of mice and rats.
- Core resources are centralized, shared research resources that provide access to instruments, technologies, testing and services.
