Education
Residents and fellows
The Department of Radiology funds the pursuit of hypothesis-driven research projects by radiology residents. The program includes a series of introductory lectures, mentorship, peer review of proposed research projects and, ultimately, presentation at national and international meetings, and publication. The department offers an investigative radiology track and a clinical investigator track for residents and fellows interested in an academic career.
All Mayo Clinic residencies and fellowships feature dedicated time for research. Learn more about radiology residencies and fellowships at Mayo Clinic's campuses in Arizona, Florida and Minnesota.
Research training opportunities
The department offers a radiology research fellowship program, which is a catalyst for established researchers to hire PhDs for a two-year period to purse novel research ideas with the expectation of generating unique federally funded projects. See postdoctoral temporary research positions.
