SUMMARY
Enrique F. Elli, M.D., conducts research on surgical treatments for obesity and related diseases, focusing on new procedures and minimally invasive access. He also has a strong interest in the treatment of foregut conditions both benign and malignant, particularly the treatment of achalasia, hiatal hernias and gastrointestinal (GI) cancer. Lastly, Dr. Elli investigates surgical treatments for renal gland disorders and dedicates time to the innovation of surgical devices — creating and prototyping devices that will improve patient care.
