The research of Ian T. Mark, M.D., MSM, focuses on advanced imaging techniques to study diseases involving the brain, head and neck, and spine. As a neuroradiologist, he focuses on challenging situations where locating the cause of symptoms is difficult to solve with typical imaging techniques. He translates new neuroimaging solutions to direct patient care. He aims to improve patient outcomes by focusing on disease sources and specifically targeting affected areas to better guide treatment.
These include:
By studying spontaneous intracranial hypotension and pituitary tumors, Dr. Mark aims to create new techniques to show areas of treatable pathology. Such areas are often difficult to see using current testing technology. By finding the patients with treatable conditions early on, Dr. Mark hopes to improve outcomes.
