SUMMARY

David M. Routman, M.D.'s research aims to personalize radiation oncology treatment across multiple malignancies by translating science and technology into clinical application. He is co-founder of Mayo Clinic's Radiation Oncology Informatics Laboratory with a specialized focus on using advances in data science and technology to improve the quality of care while minimizing toxicity. Dr. Routman focuses on patient-reported outcomes, wearable technologies, novel biomarkers, and radiation therapy advances including proton therapy and automation.
