  • Safety. Dr. Stans collaborates with colleagues to reduce radiation exposure for patients receiving orthopedic care.
  • Quality. The most common source of medical error is miscommunication. Dr. Stans collaborates with multiple specialties within the Department of Surgery to improve communication between teams when transferring patients from the operating room to the intensive care unit.
