Education and Training

The Genetics of Liver Disease Lab welcomes students pursuing Ph.D. degrees at Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Research in our lab aligns primarily with the biochemistry and molecular biology and regenerative sciences tracks. Students interested in conducting Ph.D. dissertation studies under Dr. Wangensteen can apply directly to the Ph.D. Program or the Medical Scientist Training Program (M.D.-Ph.D.) through Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
