Collaborators

Dr. Whiteside collaborates with John D. Port, M.D., Ph.D., on work in the Pediatric Anxiety Disorders Laboratory.

Dr. Port is a board-certified neuroradiologist on Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota. He is an active researcher who is primarily interested in developing new state-of-the-art imaging techniques for use in patients with psychiatric illnesses.

Currently, Dr. Port is focusing on obsessive-compulsive disorder and bipolar disease. Areas of active imaging research include proton and phosphorus magnetic resonance spectroscopy and spectroscopic imaging, as well as diffusion tensor imaging.
