Investigators in the Department of Health Sciences Research aim to better understand disease processes and factors that contribute to the development and incident rates of diseases.

Particularly for melanoma, health sciences researchers at Mayo Clinic are interested in advancing the understanding of environmental and other external factors that may contribute to the increased incidence of melanoma.
