State Programs and Outcome after Traumatic Brain Injury
Rochester, Minn.
The purpose of this study is to develop a reliable method to elicit Traumatic Brain Injury Model System (TBIMS) participant use of state programs and services. Accounting for other sources of social support, we will investigate the relationship between use of state programs and services on outcomes following moderate/severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). This study will provide a reliable and valid method for studying social supports generally and state programs and services specifically. Research is needed to understand the role of state programs and services play in recovery from moderate/severe TBI.
