Reduction of fluid reservoir depth, intraocular pressure, and tear exchange in habitual scleral lens wearers Rochester, Minn.
The purpose of this study is to determine rate of change in corneal clearance of scleral lenses in habitual lens wearers. Also, to determine the increase corneal thickness in established scleral lens wearers following 2 hours of lens wear, Determine any differences in IOP as measured with the diaton in a habitual lens wearer before scleral lens wear, with the sclera lens on the eye and after lens removal. (Compare to temporal pneumatonometer and Goldmann IOP after lens removal.), and evaluate tear exchange during scleral lens wear by observation and by assessing changes in optical density of the fluid reservoir as measured before and after instillation of NaFl in the inferior fornix.

1. Determine the corneal cellular changes that occur in response to scleral lens wear.

2. Determine the role of lens clearance over the cornea in relation to corneal cellular changes

The purpose of this study is to determine if short-term wear of a scleral contact lens will raise intraocular pressure in ocular hypertensive patients.
Refining the Fit of Scleral Lenses Over the Sclera Rochester, Minn.
The purpose of the study is to determine if scleral lense fitted with quadrant specific haptics will provide better patient comfort compared to lenses fitted by using standard spherical or toric haptics.
