  • Hunhu Patient Engagement Study Phase I Rochester, Minn.

    Hunhu Healthcare, a new Mayo Ventures company, plans to use mobile technology, predictive analytics, wearable technology and social psychology to create and manage communities that work for effective health care. The purpose of this research is to gather data from patients and their family caregivers on the roles social network members play in their own experience to help inform the design of a solution to make those connections easier to engage and manage.

  • MEVOKED and PHQ9 Data Rochester, Minn.

    Data collected from the MEVOKED Study #1 (IRB#14-009159) showed wide variability in how participants engaged with and used the MEVOKED program. This study will obtain additional information on participants – in particular PHQ9 depression scores and medication use during their enrollment in the MEVOKED program will provide additional data to support the analysis of the MEVOKED Study #1 (IRB#14-009159).

  • Qualitative Interviews Assessing Mood and Eating Behavior among Participants in the Physiologic Effects of Sleep Restriction Study IRB 11-002121 Rochester, Minn.

    Adults who are deprived of sleep during a sleep study (IRB 11-002121) may have insights about emotional and physical states that impact eating.  The purpose of the study is to conduct qualitative interviews of participants in a sleep restriction study to learn about their self-observations regarding their eating motivations and behaviors.

    The purpose of the study is to conduct qualitative interviews of participants in a sleep restriction study who were allowed free snacking to learn about their self-observations regarding their eating motivations and behaviors.
