  • Review Of Posterior Clavicle Dislocation Rochester, MN

    The purpose of this study is to examine trends in incidence and management of patients who had posterior sternoclavicular dislocation or anterior sternoclavicular dislocation injury treated operatively or non-operatively between 1995 – onwards.

    Also, to examine the long-term outcomes of patients who had a posterior sternoclavicular dislocation or anterior sternoclavicular dislocation treated operatively or non-operatively with respect to the following outcomes: rate of surgical intervention and trends over time, rate of reoperation or revision, development of non-operative complications following posterior sternoclavicular dislocation or anterior sternoclavicular dislocation, comparison of long-term outcomes (any infection, pain, return to baseline, and non-operative complications) between surgical approaches and non-operative management. Additionally, to evaluate predictive factors associated with differences in long-term outcomes.

  • Surgical Safety Following Rotator Cuff Repair Using FiberLocker® System Rochester, MN

    Primary Research Aim

    • To assess the safety profile of the FiberLocker® System

      • Measured by frequency and rates of device- related adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) throughout the study

      • Target <5% Adverse Effects

     

    Secondary Research Aims

    1. To assess postoperative healing following rotator cuff repair augmented with the FiberLocker® System

      • Measurement: MRI at 12 months

      • Target: ≥90% healed tendon at 12 months

    2. To assess patient reported pain and shoulder function

      • Instruments: ASES, VAS, SANE, ROM

      • Target: Meeting MCID thresholds for validated outcome measures at 12 months

  • Validation of Virtual Evaluation of Shoulder Range of Motion when Compared to Traditional In-Person Evaluation of Shoulder Motion Rochester, MN

    The purpose of this study is to create and test the validity of a telehealth protocol for obtaining shoulder range of motion.
