Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

To increase equity, diversity and inclusion, the Department of Neuroscience:

  • Recommends, implements and promotes initiatives to recruit, support and retain personnel from diverse backgrounds.
  • Provides forums for education on topics that enhance cultural competency.
  • Promotes participation in activities that increase access and training opportunities for underrepresented groups in the community.
  • Communicates diversity and inclusion initiatives, actions, and results to all interested parties inside and outside of the department.
