Community Steering Committee
The Community Steering Committee provides strategic consultation and guidance to CCaTS leadership on issues related to community needs and priorities. The committee is composed of community stakeholders with diverse perspectives in translational research, such as patient advocates, public heath representatives, and community clinical practitioners. This committee ensures synergy and early engagement with communities by advising CCaTS leaders on the most effective ways to engage communities at every step of the translational research process, as well as the most effective ways to disseminate research to communities and into clinical care settings.
