What is a Super User?

A Super User:

  • Wants to use OR-Stretch in the operating room.
  • Will solve problems and be proactive about using the web app.
  • Has autonomy and control in the OR — for example, approvals to get cords.
  • Has the ability to test OR-Stretch in the operating room before use such as sound, screen, internet connection, computer sleep test, and so on.

What are the responsibilities of a Super User?

  1. Ensure equipment is available in the OR:
    • Speakers.
    • Screen visible from sterile field is ideal.
    • Computer or mobile device.
    • Appropriate cords connecting the speakers to the device.
    • Internet connection.
  2. Test OR-Stretch in the OR (Super User and Champion):
    • Sound levels.
    • Screen availability.
    • Internet connection.
    • Computer sleep test.
    • Interaction with music, using a streaming service.
  3. Setup:
    • Complete a baseline survey.
    • Indicate the primary nonsterile staff member that will log in or post instructions in the operating room.

What is a Champion?

A Champion:

  • Wants your staff to use OR-Stretch.
  • Should be in leadership or have leadership support to influence users.
  • Solves problems and proactively encourages your staff to use OR-Stretch.
  • Has autonomy and control in the OR — for example, approvals to get cords.
  • Is able to test OR-Stretch before use in the OR, such as sound, screen, internet connection, computer sleep test, and so on.

What are the responsibilities of a Champion?
