What attracted you to Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences?
I was attracted to the intimate and supportive environment that Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Science offers its students. It is apparent that fostering relationships and building collaborations is a top priority for Mayo, and I knew I would thrive both professionally and personally in that setting.
Why did you choose the clinical and translational science track?
Clinical and translational science offers a multidisciplinary approach to science, and that complements my background in anthropology, immunology and public health.
What do you like about Rochester, Minnesota?
I appreciate Rochester's sense of community and beautiful nature trails.
What are your plans for the future?
Upon graduating, I will focus my mixed-methods research on improving access and quality of care for marginalized populations.
